More than 25,000 people are still without power in Cornwall following Storm Goretti which battered the county on Thursday and Friday. Communities have been rallying together after a rare red weather warning for wind was issued on Thursday, with a further yellow warning for wind for Devon and Cornwall on Friday.

Trees have come down, roads are blocked and tens of thousands of properties are without power across Cornwall in the wake of Storm Goretti. Major disruption has hit as expected across the county as winds reportedly in excess of 120mph ripped through some areas of the county.
